On the edge of the dunes of Egmond aan Zee, the wheelchair-friendly De Egmonden is currently being finalized. The 25-holiday apartments are equipped with all amenities.
Welcome to De Egmonden. In our modern, spacious, and barrier-free 4-person apartment, you have all the space you need, also, with a mobility scooter, walker, or (electric) wheelchair.
The apartment
In the living room, you will find a spacious sitting area with a television and a dining table. Thanks to the natural light, the living room is an excellent place to sit. The open kitchen, with a height-adjustable kitchen unit, has everything you need.
The apartment has two bedrooms. One of the bedrooms has 2 high-low beds and height-adjustable bedside tables. The other bedroom has 2 single beds. A lifting pole is available on request. In the bathroom, you will find a double sink in two heights and two showers, one with a folding shower chair and an adapted toilet. The apartment has an extra toilet, separate from the bathroom.
In good weather, you can take a seat on the spacious balcony. You can make free use of the wifi and the parking garage. For general use, we have one height-adjustable bath, which you can use upon reservation.

At De Egmonden, no one will feel excluded or treated separately. No guest is short of anything with us. At De Egmonden, all barriers have been removed for you, literally and figuratively.

Egmond aan Zee has a lot to offer: a beautiful dune landscape, a beach and a cosy village. Thanks to the well-maintained paved dune paths and the (beach) wheelchairs that you can rent, Egmond is accessible to everyone, so everyone can enjoy this beautiful area.
In cooperation with Restaurant Natuurlijk and Brasserie Santiago from Egmond aan Zee, it is possible to have your dinner delivered to your flat. Both catering establishments offer a varied menu, which you can find in your flat.

You can make a reservation online as well as by telephone. It is also possible to make reservations at the reception desk of the hotel. The reservation is subject to availability.

Your apartment will be ready from 3:00 p.m. on your arrival day. On the day of departure, you must be checked out before 10:30 a.m.
During the high season, the reception of De Egmonden is open on Saturdays from 9am to 5pm and outside the high season on Mondays and Fridays from 9am to 5pm. On all other days, you should check in at Hotel Zuiderduin, Zeeweg 52 in Egmond aan Zee.
Upon arrival at your apartment, the beds are made and towels are provided. Clean linens and towels are provided once a week.
Apartments De Egmonden offers fully adapted and barrier-free apartments.
Do you prefer to stay in a hotel? At Hotel Zuiderduin you will find wheelchair-accessible rooms with the necessary adaptations for a carefree stay.

Yes, dogs are very welcome in all our apartments. We kindly ask you to indicate your dog(s) in advance when booking. No items, such as a dog bed or food bowl, are available for your dog in our apartments. You must bring these with you from home.
We would like to inform you that we allow a maximum of two dogs per room and there is an additional charge of € 15.00* per dog per night.
